One of the nicest pubs in Sheffield! Usually pubs near train stations are very generic & just a ‘waiting’ place for travellers. In contrast, The Howard has personality & the perfect style to make you feel like you’re in your local. Sarah, the landlady, makes you feel so welcome & all the staff are lovely. The whole place is clean & modern & has multiple areas to feel cosy in, & the music is always great. The food is also always absolutely top tier! I recommend this place before and after you catch a train, of course, but it is definitely worth making a visit to any time!

Typical pub grub done to a great standard and served by top notch staff. Recently taken over, the new manager seems like she knows her stuff and was really welcoming. Some decent drinks offers on and it's a real sun trap on the front with the new outdoor seating area. I pass by regularly so I reckon this will be my new favourite haunt.

The howard pub as gone down hill since Rob and Sarah Jo left, I don't know what Marsden were thinking by there choice for change the atmosphere is now dead...this is a shame because for the years they were there they did a fantastic job now to be honest its RUBBISH to be polite and most of the regular customers that are still going in think the same most others have gone to other venues
