Loved our experience at Le Petit Citron. From the warm welcome to the food, music, and décor, everything felt thoughtful and inviting — like a little slice of France in London 😌 We visited to try their new weekend breakfast menu and really enjoyed the dishes. The Steak à Cheval was cooked perfectly, and the Brioche aux Champignons was rich and comforting. The complimentary mimosas were a lovely touch and set the tone for a slow weekend morning. I’m sorry to say this because the staff were really lovely, but I can think of few foods I’ve been more appalled by in my life: this was genuinely one of the worst steaks I’ve ever had. The waiter strongly recommended their most expensive sirloin steak (£39). I’m a big steak lover and both cook it myself and eat it frequently in restaurants, so was keen. Hidden gem in Brook Green. We went there with friends for a very special occasion and everything was so delicious. The atmosphere, decor, ambiance and music, the staff, the food, the wine selection... All hugely exceeding our expectations. Authentic french dishes and carefullly crafted menu.
