When the sun shines, sitting out front is nice, if noisy from the road. Tea, proper tea, in a pot with proper leaves and not a speck got in the cup. Decent sized piece of coffee cake - it was 11. The menu looks promising for brunch tomorrow .

Stayed in Shirley and checked out this local coffee shop. The Latte was nice. The breakfast was OK I've had better. I ordered a veggie breakfast. I had to ask for the butter for the toast. Because it came without and the toast was dry. Food - OK, however I have had better value in produce aswell as the cost. Service - OK Atmosphere - the place was lively and it was clean.

I visited here today. Lovely selection of cakes, drinks and a hot food menu as well as sandwiches/toasties. I had a vegetarian breakfast consisting of fried egg, fried fresh tomato, a choice of brown or white toast with 2 mini butters, hashbrowns, sausages and baked beans, along with a raspberry smoothie & lemon blueberry sponge. It was delicious. Staff are friendly (I have noticed I haven't seen a lady staff member here for a while hopefully she's okay, and the man I haven't seen for a while).
