Steve★★★★Located in Princess Street, Shrewsbury, this deceivingly spacious coffee shop offers a great menu and some of the finest coffee in the area. A small, enthusiastic team serves dishes made with local produce, catering to various dietary needs with a selection of vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. The menu features standout items like a delicious smashed avocado served with pea shoots, pomegranate seeds, and chilli oil, alongside excellent coffee and treats like chocolate brownies. Additionally, the establishment is dog friendly.
Benjamin Slocombe★★★★★Nice little cafe with plenty of healthy and tasty food options. I went with the hot bowl on the specials board and it was the chickpea curry. It had a lovely warm spice to it with chunks of cauliflower and sweet potato. If it’s on the specials board I would recommend it! There’s also a selection of cakes on the counter. The lemon and blueberry blondie was deliciously tart with a soft sponge. It was very reasonably priced as well.
Mandy Howells★★★★★We came across Ginger & Co whilst visiting Shrewsbury for 3 days. As we passed we heard the friendly chatter and a full cafe, which is always a good sign. We had a good welcome in, squeezed on the window ledge with bar stools to drink our lovely coffee and enjoy our delicious carrot cake and flapjack whilst watching the world go by. Babies and dogs were welcomed in, obviously a very popular place with locals. Well done owner and staff, keep it up! See you on our next visit.
gee massam Art★★★★★A Sunday morning in Shrewsbury, looking for a coffee and cake - we found Ginger and Co. It was busy with customers but we got seated promptly and the service was quick. They had a lovely selection of cakes, with about 5/6 GF or Vegan ones to choose from 👍 They were all in the same counter area, so I hope they used separate tongs for the GF ones… 😉 We had a Lemon and Blueberry Blondie and a Chocolate Brownie, both GF and delicious.
