Tucked just off Carnaby in Soho, Cafe Vins feels like a hidden gem. It’s a chic, cosy little haven where you can sip seriously good coffee or matcha while browsing a thoughtfully curated selection of ethically sourced designer pieces and books. The space is effortlessly aesthetic without feeling try-hard, and the team are genuinely lovely, which makes the whole experience even better. A perfect spot to slow down and enjoy something a bit special.

Summary - come here if you want gorgeous coffee (but don’t get the hot choc) and an oasis of calm minimalism to take a few breaths before diving back into London. Detail - flat white was divine! - Hot chocolate not good (couldn’t taste any chocolate and it had a strange after taste) - music and atmosphere was so relaxing (smooth instrumental jazz when I was there), although I’m confused by the solitary clothing rail inside as decor… - service was friendly enough - no wifi, barely phone signal, no tables, no bathroom. - Not much space but given the point before no one really stays, so not a p

This is probably the best flat white I’ve had in 2026 so far — perfectly balanced acidity and bitterness, smooth milk, and lovely latte art. The seating design could be better, but it might just be part of the shop’s character.

Nice little cafe in Carnaby Street. A little hidden, a lot less busy, a pretty place to hang out in, and great coffee. I say that’s the perfect combination for a wonderful cafe experience.
