I took my children to see The Mandalorian and Grogu on Sunday (31/5/26) and was really impressed that they had someone walking in the cinema as The Mandalorian as the films credits rolled! This made my son's day as he met his hero! It was a great touch that added to his experience. He was buzzing about it all the way home and into the evening. Great job.

With all the 1* here, I cannot understand how this cinema has an average of 4.1*. My experience was horrid. The system wouldn't let me book without going round and round in circles. I tried to call the number on the Southend website to no avail; once again, press this and that - only to be guided to the website at the end. All-in-all, I must have wasted an hour and half on the phone. (I should have just driven there and bought one - IF this is possible). Again, no human. The cinema was cold. I wasn't going to pay the £7 for the small bottle of beer, so the poor server had to pour it aw

It’s nice love the movies being displayed, but my pet hamster has gone missing and I can’t seem to find her anywhere and I’m worried, she catapulted herself off the chair and ran off after eating a bit of sweet popcorn, I miss my Marjorie I do. She’s probably dead by now, RIP MARJORIE!😢😊 xxx

Have lived in Southend and visited this cinema since it opened, have lots of fond memories. The screen, lighting, sound and premium seats are still great but as an experience with my family it was not pleasant due to the state of the place- especially the women’s toilets. Only one was usable, most were out of order and the one that we used was covered in dust. It’s all looking very ‘tired’ and dirty in there compared to other cinemas we have been to in other towns and cities. Don’t like to moan, but why do we have to put up with this in Southend?
