Very disappointed with the customer service at Pepe’s Piri Piri Southend-on-Sea today. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 8 years and regularly order from Pepe’s, but this experience has completely put me off returning. I spent £28.16 on 2 rice boxes and a large chips, and when I asked for 2 pots of sweet sauce, I was told I had to pay an extra £1.00. In all the years I’ve been coming to Pepe’s, at least one sauce per meal was usually included, and I’ve only ever been charged for additional extras. What frustrated me most wasn’t the £1 — it was the attitude from the staff. There was no effo

I was served by Pooja today, she greeted me warmly and kindly already knew my order. She provides a great service, the food is always lovely and served quick. The prices are student friendly and very reasonable for the food provided. It's 100% halal and have deals for ramadan. I cannot recommend more!
