One of the best places around! We go to the Bedford Chicken George a lot and love it there so tried the St Albans one and were amazed as always. Fresh food and cold draught beers. Our server Caz was amazing!! So attentive and lovely she made the experience even better 🌟

After a long time waiting. Lovely food as usual. My only problem was, Its NOT very clear you can order in the restaurant to eat in. You're greeted by lots to look at and take in, but there's no CLEAR signage if you wish to eat in. I ordered and paid for my food (downstairs), went to the upstairs restaurant to eat only to be told I can't eat takeaway in there. After explaining my predicament to the staff they were very accommodating and let me sit and enjoy my food with a cold pint. A tiny A4 sign is not enough when everything else is bright and bold.

Visited for the first time, and although had seen many videos etc. online, the actual experience was even better than expected. A lovely vibe, friendly staff, and of course outstanding food. We sat upstairs to watch the football, and our server was Tom, who was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Between us we had the chicken burger, chicken wrap, mozzarella spring rolls, and chips - which were amazing in their own right! A fantastic addition to the City, will definitely be watching more football there too in the future. Screens visible wherever you sit. Well done all at Chicken George 👏
