Great traditional pub! Proper old school vibes. The staff are very welcoming and you always get a service with a smile. Excellent selection of real ale from a wide range of breweries, local and otherwise. Food is second to none. Salt and Pepper chips are unreal! 100% recommend you visit. Best pub in town. There’s a reason they have won best pub in the UK a number of times.

Outside of the Turks Head you have a cute little dog friendly garden with many benches which is perfect for sunny days and also you can order there food such as pizza, fries and burgers. We ordered margarita pizza which was very soft cheesy, delicious. Fries was so fresh with garlic sauce. Amazing smashed Burger, very juicy. Staff here are very friendly and welcoming. In the past few people recommended that place and I'm fully agree with them, definitely I will be back!

The food here was amazing! Large portions and full of flavour. I had the special Yorkshire pudding wrap. It was a homemade very large Yorkshire puddings with a braised steak filling with a side of roasted potato/chips (Large chunky chip shape but had a texture and taste of a roasted potato). It came with a gravy dip which made it that bit extra special. The service was amazing and attentive. The decor was old school classy pub with a rustic Turkish style interior. Thank you very much for the tasty food and amazing service at a very low cost.

I've visited St Helens all my life but somehow had not come across this excellent pub. It was only while attending a funeral at the Church that I noticed it . Fantastic selection of excellent hand drawn real ales. A proper traditional pub with reasonable prices. Will definitely be visiting again for a Sunday Roast .
