Marston house (I think). Had Wainwright Gold, Hobgoblin and at least one other on. Decent jukebox, nice atmosphere. Friendly backstreet pub and dog friendly.

Great place to socialise. Always something going on, be it a well run fun quiz, or an open mic or an acoustic night. The staff are really friendly, Matt and Sandra are always attentive. They have settled in so quickly. Since taking over they have listened to their customers requests and acted on them. This is a 'traditional pub' in the true sense of the words. A great place to meet friendly people.

Real shame. Was very impressed during my first visit a few weeks ago. However, tonight the bar staff were more interested in their phones than their customers. Did plan to stay for a few drinks, but after waiting some time to be served the barmaid only looked up from her phone when we announced we were leaving. Sorry guys. Disappointed to say the least
