Last month we visited Vera Artisan Bakery and had such a great experience. We tried the baklava latte and the French toast, and both were absolutely excellent, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The place itself is spotless, you can really tell they take pride in keeping everything clean and well organised. The service was also fantastic friendly, attentive and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Definitely a spot worth visiting, we’ll be back for sure!

Among the many cafés lining King Street, this little spot stood out for being particularly well-kept and inviting. Quiet, laid-back atmosphere with prompt and courteous service. Ordered the full Scottish all day breakfast with a cappuccino—absolutely satisfied. The plate had everything it should: bacon, sausage, black pudding, haggis, egg, grilled tomato, mushrooms, baked beans, and sourdough.
