Such a pretty pub with great atmosphere. Went here in October for a family birthday lunch. When we arrived the staff had put some birthday decorations on the table and wall next to us which was such a lovely gesture. The staff were lovely and couldn't do more for us. We ate like kings!

Beautiful pub, right in the middle of nowhere. We decided to have a couple of days in Truro, the weather was horrific so we went for a drive in the local area and came across this awesome pub. They were rammed and we didn't have a booking. NO problem, the lovely young lady sat us in the bar, in what I can only describe as the most comfortable pub chairs ever! She explained that we could order our drinks then she would get us a table as soon as possible. Luckily a lady and her young children offered to share their table seating 8 people with us. We just visited this amazing restaurant. We reserved a table for 4 persons. As soon as we entered we we're greeted extremely polite. Orderd food some time later. As starters we had the vegetarian spring rolls with hoisin sauce and the nachos. Both were really tasty. For main dishes we had the Porky Hound burger and the children hot dogs in a bun. The only way to describe the burger is massive. And so so tasty. Self-made burger patty, bacon and pulled pork. In a bun. With some veggies. Fries and slaw as sides. It was so delicious. The children loved their hot dogs with fries and peas as sides.
