Impromptu Wednesday evening meal out, I booked a couple of hours before and that was no problem (although they said they get very busy especially at weekends). The waiter was really welcoming and didn’t hesitate to explain all the dishes to us and when my husband said he didn’t want anything too spicy they were happy to tone down the spice in the dish he’d chosen. The food was really tasty and fresh, the atmosphere was nice with Sti Lankan (I presume) music playing in the background. It's been quite some time since my wife and I have come across authentic Sri Lankan food, such as Hoppers, Vadai, Wattalapam, etc. My wife's family are Sinhalese and it's really nice to enjoy well cooked food outside of Sri Lanka itself.
