We popped in to Cafe Cocktail after a meal nearby and this was the perfect place for a nightcap (or three). The vibe is busy, but grown-up. The crowd seemed to be late 20s to 40s which felt about right for what we wanted... somewhere vibey enough to feel fun, but could still sit and chat. We were greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff who seated us and took our order. We ordered one cocktail off the menu, plus a reasonably obscure cocktail (off-menu) both of which were expertly prepared. Cafe Cocktail continues to amaze me at every visit. The quality of the cocktails, and the knowledge of the mixologists is second to none. A cosy (but air conditioned when needed!) venue, with incredible friendly staff, in a great location for some people watching. Chilled lounge music adds to the atmosphere, the gentle sound of cocktails being shaken in the background, and the chatter and laughs of happy punters. Oh, and the food rocks too. And the snacks. I struggle to find something bad to balance the praise. Give it a go, you’ll love it :)

We were a small group of eight who were there for a wine tasting event. The sommelier who was a well qualified and an experienced chef guided us through eight different wines from white followed by rose and finally the reds. His advice on what to look out for and his tasting notes were first class. The whole experience was accompanied by snacks which enhanced and changed the nature of the tasting experience. If you are looking for a convivial night out with friends and relatives and want to learn more about wine this is for you.

Fantastic Experience in Stratford! I had a brilliant time at Café Cocktail. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and really made the atmosphere welcoming.
