Went here because another pub close by was full . We managed to book but then they didn't have a table ready but the staff were very good at getting a table ready for us and moving some people who where only drinking into another area so we really appreciated that. This is not 'cheap food' so I did expect for £18 my steak to be cooked correctly. Asked for medium rare , it came out well done in places round the edges and medium in others. So little disappointed there but overall tasted nice. Portion sizes were really good . Especially for under 5's . I could have ate my son's meal and been ful

Great food at a great price, made even better as you accept the Gourmet Card. We were a party of 8 for a family birthday meal. A relatively large party like this can prove challenging for most places but your staff looked after us impeccably. Even through the confusion we caused during some of the ordering your barman was in good humour throughout. Thank you and Happy New Year to you all!

9 of us visited the pub and we had a great experience. It’s a little expensive for food and drink but you know that Marston’s is always better quality compared to Sizzling pubs or Greene King, plus we had 30% main meals vouchers so can’t complain. The service was fantastic, the waitress let us use an additional voucher for money off the drinks, even though it wasn’t quite 8pm as per the terms and conditions. All in all we saved quite a bit of money. Lots of pubs would be strict with stuff like that but nothing was too much trouble here. The food was brought out very quickly and the quality is
