#toast 647 — @commongroundlondon French toast 🍎🍞 thick slice of brioche with mascarpone cream piped inside the toast itself. flavours wise, it was a standout — not too sweet, really palatable flavours that made it an enjoyable eat. despite being a bit farther out from central London, this place was packed on a Sunday weekend. laptops are not allowed, but you can bring a furry friend instead. the staff are very cheerful and seem to have a really good time — dancing around and enjoying music. only thing is that some of the tables are a bit too close to each other especially for those dining i

This is a great place if you’re looking for somewhere that has a bit of everything. They offer excellent coffee, as well as non-coffee options like iced matcha and fresh teas. There are also cocktails, winter warmers like mulled wine, and homemade drinks such as house lemonade or fresh orange juice. They also serve wines and beers. You can enjoy breakfast or lunch from their eat-in menu, or grab counter treats to have with a drink, like a house-made cinnamon bun, Guinness cake, or warm banana bread. Very good food here - all veggie and vegan, high quality and big flavour. I got the vegan breakfast plate and loved it! Unfortunately it does seem to be a victim of its own success as the place is very busy - although we did go on a Saturday! Weirdly they seem to prioritise takeaway drinks over seated customers' drinks, and we waited so long for our drinks that everyone had received and finished their meals before the coffees arrived! Also soon after finishing we were asked to leave so people queuing outside could take our table - which is understandable, but a shame. I recommend this place -
