Usually love eating here. This time my tuna toastie had a layer of rubbery cheese through it. Usually the cheese is mixed in with tuna. Was also cold (usually hot). The cup of tea looked terrible and tasted weak. Couldn't finish it. My son did enjoy his chips. Staff were leaning on front counter waiting for something to do. Made me feel like I was being watched so I couldn't relax.

We stopped on a Saturday for brunch after the market. It was busy, but the service was fast. The food was below average. Just seemed to have very cheap ingredients. The toast with our meals were standard white bread from probably tesco and the cappuccino was not good. For the price of the food we expected a bit better quality. Over £10 for a standard breakfast.

We use Cafe Max as a takeaway breakfast option for our working employees. Every order we've had has been incredible, pipping hot, the baps and rolls are lovely and soft and the taste is as you'd expect. Fully recommend 👌

I've been eating here for 6 + years. Always very fast service accompanied by very nice smiles. Breakfast is consistent and good quality. Burger and chips is pretty decent and substantial, no undersized portions here. It is a pleasure eating here!
