Absolutely Outstanding Vegan Breakfast! A Sunderland Gem! The Good Apple has well and truly raised the bar for vegan cafés in the North East. I popped in for breakfast and everything from the food to the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. I ordered the full vegan breakfast (photo attached), and honestly – every single item was spot on. The hash browns were golden and crispy, the tofu scramble was seasoned beautifully, the vegan sausage was delicious, and the toast with avocado was perfection. A cosy, welcoming nook of Sunderland with new exciting specials and a reliably tasty menu. This has become an almost weekly visit now. The variety, value and presentation of this place feels unmatched. The staff are personable, friendly and welcome you as a friend. The specials on the board have always blown me away and are worth checking out each time. The meals are filling, tasty, colourful and although I'm not a sweet fan, I've never been able to say no to a cake, they're that good. I'll continue to visit every time I'm around Sunderland and encourage everyone to do the same.

Excellent vegan food and lovely staff! The food is so innovative, and delicious. This café is a must whenever I am in Sunderland. Never had anything bad from here, and their full English has to be the best full English I've ever had - superior to a traditional full English!
