We stayed at this hotel & spa recently and overall it was a really memorable experience. The building itself is beautiful, very classic British architecture, lots of old character, and you can really feel the history in the place. The outside area was especially lovely, with a small lake and flowers around it, including water lilies which made it feel very peaceful and scenic. The pool facilities were excellent. Clean, relaxing, and well maintained, definitely one of the highlights of the stay. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was very good, with a nice atmosphere to mat

I stayed in this lovely hotel on one of the hottest days of the year. However, the room was so cool at night and there was a fan to use also. The ice lolly’s on arrival were such a lovely touch! The room was lovely and I had a great night sleep. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and the staff were all lovely. Breakfast was great, got to sit outside on a beautiful warm morning with the view and a full English. I visited due to a business trip but I’ll definitely return for a personal trip to this hotel to use the spa! Only thing I would say is that the car park was really hard to walk across

The hotel and the spa and the grounds were amazing. Really nice experience, really quiet, really cozy, really romantic. The staff were lovely and polite. My only concern is the breakfast, I had the full English and the hash browns, the bacon and the sausage didn't taste fresh and crispy. We didn't finish it. We tried some of the pastries, and the pastries weren't fresh either and stale. That's one of the reasons I choose to put 3 stars on my review because I had much bigger expectations for the breakfast. Everything else was really good including the spa facilities.

We were visiting from America staying with family and decided to attend a high tea. Scarlett immediately made us feel so welcome with her warm personality and friendly conversation.
