Was a bit of a weird uninviting experience. Stood at the till for a while to be served. Young boy behind the till said he would be with me in a moment he went to clean a table despite us already having seating an no one waiting behind me. When back behind the bar he asked someone else to serve me the other man complained that he had to sort out another issue. Anyway I did get served. Lovely coffee and food. Gorgeous views of people boating and the marina lifestyle. Warm and vibrant atmosphere. Staff are all helpful and positive. Lovely music couldn’t ask for more tbh… I even got a swan/bird design in my frothy coffee….

Not good if you have an allergy or Coeliac. Very unfriendly welcome and staff. We popped in on Sunday with our daughter who is coealiac and asked which ice creams are Gluten Free, we were told, without the member of staff looking at the ingredients, they all contain gluten. We can't have any. I explained that is unusual (with my daughter next to me who felt incressingly uncomfortable). I asked the brand to which she said "Bookers". The staff member walked away, look at the fridge for some reason and came back over and said, no, we can't serve you ice cream because the scoop hasn't been cleane

Last year, I was more than a little disappointed by the quality of the food, but not this year. The eggs benedict was absolutely gorgeous, the poached eggs were cooked to perfection, and the salmon and hollandaise sauce were very tasty. The coffee was spot on and was perfect, as I was able to have my oat cappuccino, which I wish I could make as nice. The kiwi fruit juice was divine. The staff were rushed off their feet, as this seems to be a very popular place, and did appear to be a little stressed, which did affect the service but would definitely eat here again.
