I’ve traveled from Germany to visit my partner and we ended up going for a walk and discovering this lovely local pub in Surrey. I have to say, we received one of the warmest welcomes ever. The food was great, the atmosphere was incredibly cosy, and the whole experience felt so relaxed and inviting. We’ll definitely be coming back! ✌️

My partner and I visited here for a Sunday lunch recently. Unfortunately, we were really disappointed with our experience. We arrived at 1pm and we ordered food and drinks within first 15 minutes of being seated. My partner is coeliac and we had heard good things about the gluten free options here. We asked if the cauliflower cheese was gluten free and said we would like to order if it was. We also ordered two of the roast beef dinners. We went for lunch on Friday at midday, welcomed with a big smile, ordered drinks at the bar and the kind staff then offered to bring to table outside and bring food menus. Drinks came quickly, we ordered sandwiches of the weekly specials and then came within 10 minutes. Food was tasty, good portions and great value. We will be back and the staff were very helpful. The new outdoor terrace is lovely, comfortable benches and newly decorated.

We had a great experience for a Sunday family lunch celebrating a birthday. The service was excellent, catering well for 13 of us.. thanks to server Klaudia! Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere, and the kids arts & crafts table was a big hit, keeping younger ones entertained! Would highly recommend.
