A lovely café in a really interesting building. The setting by the river makes it a great place to stop for coffee and relax for a while. The building itself has real character and the way the spaces are arranged gives it a unique atmosphere inside. As an architect based in Weymouth I always enjoy visiting places where the building contributes so much to the experience. Well worth a visit if you are in Taunton.

Really cute place to stop for a coffee and ideal after the park run or being in the park with your children to go grab a coffee and snack. They also do wonderful baked goods there and juice for the children. They are super friendly and wheelchair/pram accessible too. There’s a lovely outside seating area as well on a sunny day

I had to chill for a few hours in Taunton (as I could not reserve a cycle space on GWR). There is no better place in Taunton to park your bike, take shelter from the summer rain, have a coffee and a great breakfast or lunch bite to eat….. Great food choices, lovely coffee and great service. All in all a delightful find!!! Thanks must go to other reviewers for pointing me in the direction of the Weir cafe!
