A wonderful museum to walk around. The exhibits are very well presented and very informative. I spent about an hour wondering around. The staff seems to be made up mostly of women who are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The view from the top is well worth the climb up the stairs. The cafe is most popular and extremely reasonably priced with a good selection of food and drinks.

A very pleasant walk around the common. I 1as hoping to yummy it when the cafe was open but alas my timings today didnt work out and it had closed. Still a very pleasant walk. Hatd to believe this is the same place that used to host massive military air displays - the lines of static aircraft used to go on for miles. My dad used to take me - oh well life moves on in many ways.

A real treat! Informative and very interesting. And for someone my age ( 62 ) uplifting, my wife spent lots of time in the women's peace camp. So to see the base is totally re purposed for nature and wonderful dog walking and to remember the history is cathartic. You immediately get a sense of atmosphere in the tower, there is a lovely welcoming cafe selling good cakes, pies, pasties, sandwiches and good coffee and tea. Visited Greenham Common Tower and Nature Reserve and was really impressed. The climb up the control tower is worth it for the panoramic views - you can truly appreciate how vast and beautiful the common is. The reserve itself is peaceful and well maintained, with wide open spaces and great walking paths. A perfect spot to unwind, enjoy nature, and take in a bit of history all in one place.
