We always knew what a friendly place Sunderland is. But the Premier inn experience we have had here has been the best. All the staff has made us feel so at home. Hospitality at its finest. Breakfast was the best experience I have had at any premier inn. Our little boy has autism and so we only stay at premier inns. So have been in them all around the country. Sunderland is the best one so far. A special shout out to Louise who was so attentive and understanding on our arrival and Allison that was lovely with is and to all the other guests at breakfast. Genuine caring staff.

Visiting the adjacent Premier Inn so popped over for a quick dinner for convenience. The pub is huge for the limited number of patrons who were here during our visit, and had large areas seemingly taped off, which made the atmosphere a little odd. Order was taken at the bar quickly and drinks were served right away by friendly bar staff. The food did take a good 45 minutes to arrive which felt very long for how busy the place was. Food was ok; tasty but the grilled meat was slightly over done. Filled our belly’s for dinner but not somewhere I will be going out of my way to visit again soon.

Lovely breakfast. All you can eat and kids eat free. Excellent value for money. Food was lovely, quick to replenish when something ran out. Staff friendly and happy to help, eggs/bacon can be cooked differently if requested. Will be back again

My wife brought me for a meal for my 50th and I was blown away by the staff, the food and the atmosphere. I had a steak that was cooked to perfection. My wife had a vegetarian meal and she says it was amazing. The staff were so helpful and welcoming and the manager James Nicholson personally came over shook my hand and wished me a happy birthday, which he didn't need to so was really appreciated. I highly recommend this place.
