This has been a regular chippy for a few years, but I feel the quality has really gone downhill of late. This evening my chips weren't properly cooked so I had to put them in the oven for 15 minutes to finish them off when I got home. That's really poor when you're paying nearly a tenner for two portions of chips. The cod bites were quite good though.

visited twice in a month on a Saturday after midday , my ticket number was single digits so not busy yet, the chips were dreadful, limp and dark and odd shapes. I can only think they were reheated from yesterday. I know not to bother buying chips in the day time and stick to my normal purchase in the evening where they are excellent always.

The chips are soggy the fish is basically batter. The batter was nice but there’s to much of it so it makes it sickening. The food is over priced as well and the price is different on the white board, then what is actually costs.
