A good pub for eating out. The menu is interesting, and the food well presented and tasty. It's a little bit pricey, but sometimes you get what you pay for. The staff are excellent; well drilled and helpful. It can be busy around dinner time, so best to book. After dinner, it's much quieter.

We came here for a birthday and there was a large group of us (13). We had to pre-order our food a week or so ahead of time but that saved us a lot of time at the venue! I had the British half rotisserie chicken with hot honey and it was amazing! The chicken gravy that it came with was delicious, and the hot honey really rounded it all off. The starters and desserts were quite expensive for what they were, but for £19.95, the chicken was pretty good value for money! My only improvement would be if the chicken also came with a little bit of veg.

3 of us dining. Food was delicious. Tasted really fresh and very well cooked. Desserts were also delicous, but I did find my creme brule to be a little small for the price and not at all caramelised on top like a good creme brule should be. Service was good; felt well attended to for the most part. Only down side was we were seated in a booth right next to the kitchen which, after half an hour, we were all extremely hot. Shame as it did make us a little uncomfortable by the end of our meal

Early dinner before heading for a show. We had a nice cosy table by the wood burner. Great service from Maddie and Sophie B. We had a chicken burger, the chicken parfait and the half roast chicken for our mains. Then coffees and mini deserts, one sorbet and fruit and 1 rhubarb and custard. Mini deserts are a great idea and I was impressed they had oat milk for the coffee! Definitely coming back soon. Service with a smile!
