Shared a lovely afternoon tea yesterday at Tickton Grange. Thoroughly enjoyable. My friend is gluten free and her dietary requirements were met with the most scrumptious sandwiches and cakes, which is often hard to achieve without gluten containing ingredients. Both afternoon teas are generous in size and unmatched in quality, the Tickton blend loose tea is in a class of its own, we were very thankful for the frequent re-fills. Stopped off on the spur of the moment for a spot of light lunch and I'm so glad that I did. Things got off to a great start with the very good humoured welcome from the receptionist. This continued when I was handed over into the care of Eileen, whose warmth and attentiveness was equally first rate. We visited Tickton Grange for dinner with friends last night, all having the multi-course Bloomsbury Dinner, which was absolutely phenomenal for £85, and included a glass of sparkling wine. The food is gorgeous and staff are really friendly and responsive. We’ll be back again soon!

My daughters bought me afternoon tea at Tickton Grange for my birthday. What a treat in a beautiful setting. Everything was perfect. We had 2 babies in prams with us, when I booked Megan answered my call & was so friendly & helpful. Eileen who served us was amazing & made sure we had enough space around the table. Nothing was too much trouble. The afternoon tea itself was second to none. Delicious home made sandwiches, savouries, cakes & scones with as much tea as we could drink. Thankyou for a lovely afternoon. We will definitely be visiting again.
