Jack Wood★★★★★Had a really great meal here recently and would definitely go back. The food was spot on — we had a chicken balti and a chicken tikka masala, both full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The usual starters of poppadoms and chutneys were fresh and tasty, and the rice and naan dishes were exactly what you’d want alongside the mains. Portions all round were generous and everything came out hot and well presented. Service was friendly and the overall atmosphere made it an easy, relaxed place to enjoy a proper curry night. The Bangla Cottage closed down quite some time ago and the Eight Peaks Dine has taken its place. I miss the BC but pleased that this new restaurant is an excellent replacement. Not much has changed inside apart from a very smart new floor covering and a few tweaks here and there. To be honest it doesn't need anything doing to it. New staff and chefs of course and all appear to be very experienced. Stating the obvious but Nepalese / Indian cooking is quite different to your more common Bangladeshi. Yo
