Fabulous experience at The Yacht not once but twice (first dinner and then we came back again for lunch) during a recent holiday in Torquay. The food was superb - fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were great - extremely friendly and attentive. We were served by Connor, Mobin and Maya and all deserve 5 stars for excellent service with a smile! The whole restaurant ambience was lovely - we ate upstairs in and managed to get a bay view each time (we did book in advance though). Drinks and cocktails were great too. Fabulous service! The staff were so friendly and chatty. Food was excellent! Big flavours, good portion, excellent selection, quick service. Allowed us to order a sandwich from the lunch menu even though we were past the lunch food time frame. We had the garlic prawn sandwich. Delicious. Great salad and crunch on the side. We sat on the balcony which has a fantastic view of Torquay harbour. Definitely coming back again and would recommend!

Met up with an old friend in Torquay and he took us to The Yacht. Excellent decor and love the Gin distillery 😁. We ordered food but unfortunately it was a wait. Unsure why however when the food did arrive it was very good 👍. Overall the food was great, prices not bad and the staff were also very good. Yep we would return. Hopefully they will just get service squared away.

We spent an excellent afternoon at The Yacht; named storm Amy was passing us by whilst we were sipping drinks. The Costal Distilling Co is located to the rear of the premises, we were in for a real treat. We sampled numerous drinks through the course of the day and left with two bottles of the Barumba because we will definitely be polishing them off very soon. The Torquilla and Cherry Bakewell Rum were both excellent. The flavouring of the gins were unforgettable. We will definitely be back if we happen to visit the south coast again in the future.
