Staff were the best bit; very knowledgeable and gave us umbrellas to look around outside as it was tipping it down! There was only 1 other person looking round, so was very quiet and could proper take our time with all the rooms and stunning objects. The considerable world war section kept my boyfriend and father very busy, and the medieval section had some really cool things - I would recommend for families with kids, lots of interactive videos and displays. This place is lovely at Christmas, for next year I would recommend you visiting this place as it's free as well to watch the projection show 🎅🎄🎁 Torre abbey itself is a historic mansion, the size and beauty of it is absolutely breathtaking with all its little details and all the design and effort that has been put into the building when it was first built.
