A few friends and I had tickets for the England fan zone. Earlier that day there had been a Brazil match, so we were still wearing our Brazil shirts when we arrived. While we were queuing, a member of the security staff stopped us and told us that because we were wearing Brazil shirts, we had to go to the Mexico fan zone instead. We were not allowed into the England fan zone, despite having valid tickets, and were told it would be “safer” for us to be there. This was discrimination. We lined up for the Portugal vs Colombia 1 hour and 15 minutes before kick off. We didn’t get into the venue till the 30th minute of the match. During the time we lined up, we saw multiple members of staff and security speak to people in an incredibly rude tone, swearing and shouting at women and pushing people in a rough manner. We even saw 5 members of staff pushing a guy into the road with oncoming traffic and try to fight him. We booked a table in advance. I have never in my entire life encountered a place that is so almost awesome as this place. But the people in charge need to recognise that the people they are serving are humans, and not rabbits. Only then can this bar fulfil it's potential.
