Taher Kagalwala★★★★Old-world charm about this place. The staff was very helpful. Rooms were well-appointed, but they were quite quaint in the way they were arranged. You went DOWN a half flight, then climbed up to your floors. There isn’t a lift. I didn’t eat here, but they do serve meals in the restobar.

Claire Sheehan★Not friendly, talked my husband into going for a drink after christmas shopping with family hubby,myself, daughter 26,son 20. Before ordering have you got id for those 2. Son didn't have id. He wasn't even going to have a drink but usually has coke anyway. None of us could be served. Sorry lyndon house we are not coming back. Keep your regulars we won't be one of them. So many more friendly places to visit.
Chris Weston★★★★★Superb hotel, without exception wonderful staff. Brilliant food. Chef is a genius. Fair prices. Highly recomended, we stayed 3 nights and used it as a base to revisit our roots. Idiosyncratic bedrooms with real character. The slope to the lower car park and bedrooms is very real and a surprise to now flatlanders like us. We'd stay again, say no more.
