David O★★★★★Review: The Village Pub, Walthamstow What a lovely pub The Village is! It's small inside, but the beer garden is full of character and charm. We visited on a sunny day, and the garden was just perfect. We ordered a snack of delicious frickles and four buttermilk chicken fingers, served with garlic mayonnaise, followed by a Zest sundae — all for just £20. To drink, we had a pint of 50/50 pure orange juice with lemonade and a small lemonade, which came to £7.50. Very reasonable for the Walthamstow Village area. I can definitely recommend this establishment — we’ll certainly be visiting again!

In a small town, this appears to be the heart of it! The food was absolutely incredible. I would highly recommend the £75 steak for two. Though at a glance this seems overly expensive, the meat cut was the best I’ve ever had (and as a steak lover myself, this is going far).
