Really lovely place for breakfast. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. There can sometimes be a little wait, but seated fairly quickly so it wasn’t a problem. I also love the coffee and the little biscuits they serve with it — such a nice touch. The quality of the food is great, especially the sausages. The Eggs Benedict is my favourite and it’s always delicious. I’ve been a few times now and it’s consistently good. Definitely one of my favourite breakfast spots!

I recently visited Hideaway Cafe and overall had a positive experience. The location in the city centre was great and convenient. The food was delicious, particularly the "BEAST BIG ONE BREAKFAST" which was a hearty and satisfying full English breakfast with big portions. The prices were also affordable. However, I did notice that the cafe could use some renovation and could be a bit cleaner. Overall, I would recommend Hideaway Cafe for its tasty food and convenient location, but keep in mind that the decor and cleanliness could use some improvement.

I visited at about 11:00 on a bank holiday Monday whilst waiting for the rest of town to open A nice little cafe slap bang in the city center the location is great for people watching. I had the full English breakfast minus the tomato and a cup of tea (the brew even came with a custard cream 😋) The breakfast was well presented and very tasty the sausages were definitely the highlight. The bacon was nice however it wasn't as crispy as I had liked and I do prefer thin bacon. But that's just my personal preference. All in all I'd definitely come back again
