Really enjoyed our visit here. We chose this pub based on a google review and we are pleased we did. We had a very enjoyable meal, just a bit more of a delay with the food than we expected, but this was on 1st January. It is a chain pub (Marstons), but it is great value for money. The food was very tasty and decent portions. We had the Chilli and the Steak, which was cooked perfectly. Plus a lovely mint choc tart for pudding, very happy. Plus very friendly staff! We stayed longer and used their pool table as well, which was lovely for us. They also have a Darts board. They are a Carvery

What a little gem - I was looking for somewhere to stop midpoint on a long journey and this place didn't disappoint. It's proximity to the motorway was perfect and definitely worth the extra 2 minutes to not end up at a well known burger chain! The staff were welcoming from the moment we went in, explaining where our booked table was and how to order. The food was lovely and the spooky menu delighted the kids. With the exception of the onion rings the portion sizes were perfect and everything was cooked well. We booked on line and received confirmation quickly. It's definitely worth check

Another visit with the kids, another positive experience. As always good food, friendly atmosphere, and great service. I don’t know what kind of peas you use, but our 2-year-old ate two portions a lots 🤭😁 See you next time!

Stopped here by chance for a working lunch, had the Mega Mixed Grill. What can I say, bloody perfect, steak cooked just how I wanted, portion size was awesome. Really lovely couple running the place, apparently they've not been here for long but are so lovely. HIGHLY recommend for sure.
