Called in whilst passing. It was a warm welcome and also accept dogs. It was a good menu but with only a short time before moving on we opted for toast and t-cake. This came with a choice of jam or lemon curd, both were very moresome. The coffee was also very tasty. Will certainly visit again if passing.

We came here twice. The first time I ordered a very simple panini and the food took 30 minutes to come out. There weren’t a lot of people inside at this time. There was no reason for the wait. The panini had 1 measly slice of meat. The second time, I ordered a fairtrade hot chocolate, under the impression it would be a high quality hot cocoa. Boy was I wrong. It was bog standard supermarket hot chocolate mix, that was so sugary that it made my teeth hurt. I had 2 sips and left a full cup. This place is not worth the price. I’ve be been visiting here for many years. So it’s not a one off bad day. There is STILL no hot water at all in bathroom ! There is still a very hazardous step at entrance. Broken and slippery tiles. These are basic things and quite easy to fix. It has been pointed out to them. Not that it needs to be. They clearly can’t be bothered. The food is usually nice but I’m afraid the staff generally give off an unfriendly vibe. Not even a friendly ‘how are you?’ This is very basic stuff.
