Decent brach of nero on main street. Stopped for quick coffee break with family midday. Many sat outside with good weather. The service for coffees was quick. Plenty of seating inside. Toilet could do with more cleaning.

I love Caffè Nero…but not in Watford. I haven’t visited in a long time and was thinking of giving it another try, but reading recent reviews of people still getting poor service made me think twice. Similar to Tsvetelina’s review, I had the experience of Staff looking really unbothered and coffee not tasting up to standards. For me, they also gave me the wrong coffee, even after I had to repeatedly say my order because the guy was not hearing me. I’ve been a regular at this Café Nero and usually come here to sit and relax. Unfortunately, my visit yesterday was disappointing. The cleanliness standards were far below what I would expect. Most the tables were left uncleaned, and there was a noticeable amount of fur both on the table surfaces and around the seating area. As someone with an allergy to fur, this made the environment extremely uncomfortable and unhygienic for me. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to stay.
