A few of us were in the town and spotted this cafe to eat at. It reminded me of the old skool truck cafes. Friendly staff, simple food, pick up your own cutlery, ticket given for your food order. It was great to be seen as just another human and not a snowflake customer. Trying to be polite about this but there were a lot of seniors in and I can see why. It was cheap for half decent food and felt it took you back to the good old independent cafe days. Nothing pretentious here. Just humans and food to fill your belly. Tables could do with a bit of a clean and possibly a lick of new paint on the

Pros: decent service, first cafe I've visited for a while with decent food and half decent cup of tea. Cons: tables dirty, no effort made to clean between customers If you're in west brom and would like to visit a cafe this would probably be your best bet. Others have either left or have worse hygiene and certainly worse food.

Absolutely shocking! Totally understand when short staffed but told 15 min wait on food.....25minutes later as I was about to ask about my order, food came out...not what I ordered! I asked for and paid for poached egg on toast with a side hash brown. I was offered a toasted egg sandwich with the hashbrown dumped on top. Lady at the till was to busy chatting with a customer who had stood in the kitchen door way talking to people in the kitchen. I left with no food and no refund despite raising issues at the time. No longer the warm welcoming place that it used to be. Such a a shame.
