We went to Papaya on New Year’s Eve & it was THE BEST DECISION EVER. Front the we entered we were made to feel welcome to the time we left. We spent almost 2 hours at the restaurant and their dishes were full of flavour, meat was well cooked and less oily compared to most over hyped restaurants out there The price of every starter, main dishes & their drinks was very affordable and we would whole heartedly recommend & re-visit Papaya again with our family & friends The main highlight is the owner of the restaurant who ensures all his customers are satisfied every step of the way throughout

Front of house welcoming, friendly and attentive. Food superb. In our party of 4 we had a selection of beef tikka fish and chicken. All dishes were 5 star and the beef curry was exceptional. The dhal and paneer were great sides. This restaurant is a cut above and worth a detour.

Please do not offer from this restaurant - probably one of the most extortionate prices within the Sri Lankan restaurants. You pay over £18 for a veg thali and you only get three dishes and they forgot the rest of the order ! What a joke! You might as well go eat off the floor then to this place
