A great experience. Came here last Friday morning (5th June) for a cooked breakfast. Our waitress was so friendly and accommodating - 5 stars for customer service alone! We both ordered a cooked breakfast which was very reasonably priced. The bacon was cooked to perfection, the sausages were full of flavour, the hash brown was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, the bubble and squeak was awesome...I could go on! This was NOT a greasy fry up swimming in oil, but a delicious, well-prepared breakfast. Cannot rate this place highly enough. Had another cooked breakfast elsewhere a couple

Wonderful location and decor, right at the seafront, great view for having a meal when weather is nice. However, when you come in on a not very busy weekday morning, some tables are left with previous customers food/empty plates etc which is not very pleasant, and also the tea pot and cutlery could do a bit more cleaning or polishing, you can still see the water marks on them. Food wise, typical cafe food, full English breakfast, not pricy considering the location is fairly good and poplular, the bubble and squeak taste a bit bland not the best ones.

Order ham mushroom & cheese omlette chips & latte. Prepared really quickly & tasted lovely. Latte was creamy & strong enough & hot Pleasant staff (worth tipping) clean & tidy. No smoking in any area which was a shame as a smoker but would definitely recommend & will use again. X

Great seafront location with excellent views across the estuary. Staff extremely helpful and polite. Coffee & Hot chocolate were both good and what was expected. Lasagne was indeed home cooked as was explained by the young waitress,however was dry and lacking in meat and sauce. Chips were excellent,crispy and not greasy. Jacket potato dry also with heavy mayo and very little tuna. All in all adequate at best,but service and view made up for shortcomings.
