I paid extra for the “signature” fish cake and it was a complete letdown. The fish itself was incredibly thin—barely there—and most of what I got was just batter. For something marketed as a specialty, I expected much better quality and portion. To make matters worse, the food was served in cardboard boxes, which just made the whole experience feel cheap and underwhelming—especially considering the price. Overall, it definitely wasn’t worth the extra money. Will not be back again.

I found the fish nice and crispy not heavily battered or Soggy. The chips were nice and chunky with a good portion. The staff were very friendly.Seating could be a little bit hectic at busy times. Price wise was happy with this.

This fish and chip shop is probably the best restaurant I have ever been to, the staff are amazing and kind, they make me smile every time I come in. I always feel welcomed and well looked after, the environment is always clean and tidy, the music makes me happy. The service was quite fast for it being quite busy. I recommend the Smokey and chips with a side of curry sauce.
