Wow! I live in Whitley Bay, no idea why we haven’t been before. We had a large group booking on Saturday, it was amazingly well organised, the service was fantastic! I have been thinking about that prawn sandwich since! I can’t wait to go back. Thanks so much for everything. A gorgeous space with fabulous food.

Today was our first visit to The Beach House and we thought it had a lovely chilled atmosphere. Staff were friendly and although quite busy (upstairs was closed) made us feel welcome. They are very dog friendly, offering water and a pupcup for our dog. They have a great menu and the food was delicious. Hubbie had the haggis and poached egg on sourdough. I had the poached eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes on sourdough, minus the hollandaise sauce which wasn't a problem. Some cafés don't like requests to change what's on the menu so thank you! We'll definitely be back 😊🐾
