I've been trying to give this place a visit for a year now and finally had opportunity this weekend and it didn't disappoint. We phoned ahead on a sunny, busy Sunday lunchtime hoping we'd get a space and luckily they had a table available upstairs, hooray! The space and people make this restaurant feel so welcoming without giving off the impression of trying too hard and we felt immediately relaxed and taken care of. The highlight of the meal was definitely the cheesecake. It was honestly one of the best cheesecakes I have ever had. The texture, flavour, and presentation were absolutely perfect, and it’s something I’ll be thinking about long after this trip. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be returning on our next visit.

You can’t fault Harbour Street tapas. Lovely old building, smiley staff and most importantly Spanish tapas that hits the mark. The chorizo (in Rioja & honey - sweet) and patatas bravas were a highlight. I was slightly sad not to see albondigas on the menu but that’s a minor niggle. One of the best restaurants in town.

Visited her midweek with my wife and baby and had a great night! They were so accommodating for our baby and got us a table with lots of space for the pram and made us feel very welcoming! Had a range of tapas with the tortilla, chicken and rice and basque cheesecake the highlights! Really great place to go in Whitstable and feels very authentic!
