This pub hosts great quiz nights on Thursdays and the vibe and atmosphere is really lovely. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the outside seating is an added bonus, especially as summer approaches. Although I haven't eaten here before, food always looks nice.

An average venue, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. When we arrived, we were told we had to place our food order within the next half hour because the band was due to start at 7:30pm. However, by 8:00pm the band still hadn’t started, making the rush to order seem unnecessary. The food itself was okay. We ordered a chocolate brownie for dessert, but what arrived was clearly a piece of chocolate sponge cake with custard rather than a brownie.
