We had an amazing lunch at Samphire and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our visit. Every dish we ordered was outstanding and full of flavour. The lady who looked after us was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The sole was perfectly cooked, very generous in portion size, and served with an absolutely delicious sauce. The vanilla cheesecake was truly unforgettable, easily one of the best desserts we’ve ever had. Its presentation was unique and beautiful. If you’re visiting Whitstable, we can’t recommend Samphire highly enough. A

We had a wonderful lunch experience at Samphire. The waitress was exceptional — so friendly, attentive, and genuinely lovely to engage with. Even the other customers added to the atmosphere, making it feel like such a warm and welcoming place to dine. The food was fantastic. The prawns were absolutely exceptional — full of flavour, and I could have easily enjoyed several more! The steak was also cooked extremely well and was a real highlight of the meal. A definite 10/10 from us. Highly recommended, and we would happily return!

Superb service and amazing food. The Chefs are so incredible and humble despite their incredible flair with food! Highly recommend the foccacia with flavoured butter, grilled Cornish prawns, hispi cabbage which was phenomenal. The whole bream, fish pie. Save room if they have the cheesecake on, oh my word was that incredible! Lovely attentive staff. Highly advise calling ahead and booking although they did accommodate a couple of walk ins but this place is small and every table was in service! £50 a head with soft drinks only

Lovely little place the service was great and the food delicious, we had the set lunch menu £23 for 2 courses we couldn’t manage a dessert as well! The mussel bisque and the alioli was particularly good. It has a lovely little French bistro vibe and we will definitely return.
