I just wanted to say I celebrated my 60 th birthday with a meal at Gallimors last night .There was 24 people there and the service was amazing and the food was another level. I would recommend any function and meal there,by far the best food and service iv ever had .The room upstairs was perfect and the atmosphere was amazing .They set the room up lovely and it was greatfully appreciated. Everybody was praising the food and service ,you must try it out . Thanks Andy wilkinson

My wife and I went Friday 30th Jan about 4pm. We were greeted by a friendly server who showed us to a table. Looking at the evening menu there was a good choice of meals. My wife selected chicken,bacon with mushrooms and I ordered chicken with black pudding and mash. When meals came they looked very appetising and the presentation was very good. The server was very friendly and helpful. The meal was very good and very filling. Compliments to all staff and chef.

Party of five, prebooked a table, arrived early but table was reserved so seated quickly. Space was tight but manageable. Haloumi fries were OK as a starter. Mushrooms and prawn cocktails were good. The mains, chops and salmon were good, burger bun was dry and unremarkable, two sea bass were bland at best, this was mentioned to Andrei the manager, very discreetly, there was no mention of anything from him or anyone else. We weren't asked if we would like a desert, cost per person starter main one drink £27.

All 4 of us had the £10 steak meal. Steak was perfectly cooked served with home made chips and salad, couldn't fault it. We followed it up with the cheese board, 2 of us had puddings & lastly 1 of us ordered the old favourite (apple pie & custard). The new owners are really nice & the atmosphere is cosy. Reasonably priced for the quality of food served. Disabled toilets available and Wigan bus station just a short walk away, brilliant for leaving the car at home and having a few drinks. What more could anyone ask for.
