We had a lovely time at Browns. We had valentine’s menu - seafood platter, ribeye and lamb, crumbles and sabayon. The seafood platter was a good start. Fresh seafood, well seasoned, sufficient portion for two. I asked to have my lamb pink and my partner wanted his steak well done. Both came perfectly cooked and hot! Good portion as well. Came for dinner we loved all the food ! We had a calamari amd goats cheese starters and fillet steaks with garlic scallops! Even managed puddings Wine was great would highly recommend. I've generally heard good things about Brown's and their gluten-free offerings, but their location in Wilmslow was disappointing for me, and I was disappointed by the quality of the food in particular. I appreciated being able to get a table on a Saturday without a prior reservation The atmosphere feels fancy and more suited to groups of four or less. They have made it look nice with some subtle differences from when this building was operated by Miller and Carter. This was the first time I’ve been to Browns in ages, and I don’t know why I waited so long between visits! The food was delicious, and the service was great. Really polite and friendly, we sat in the beautiful garden after lunch and enjoyed the long awaited sun. The new manager Fiona is doing a wonderful job with the place. We will be back for Mother’s Day and yoga, can’t wait!
