With no plans this Christmas, we ended up at Hickory’s Smokehouse in Wilmslow — and it turned out to be such a good find 🤍
They’re known for Texas-style BBQ, with low-and-slow smoked brisket, pulled pork and pork belly as their signatures. We ordered a chicken taco and a BBQ platter —
the brisket was beautifully tender with a smoky flavour, and the pork belly was spot on .chicken was a bit dry . 
Even the sides stood out: the coleslaw and pickles were fresh and really well balanced.
The fries were like Shake Shake fries with seasoning dusted over, totally addictive 🍟

Very attentive servers friendly and customer orientated. Smart inside, good portion sizes, free popcorn and water before you order. Great American classsics like mac n cheese, burgers, shakes. Deffo worth going. Gorgeous food, nice venue, nice staff and great location.

First time here tonight, will ABSOLUTELY be back. Cannot rate it highly enough. I had the brisket with a side of Mac n Cheese. I dont like jalapeños or pickles so I left those but everything else I had was out of this world. The brisket was melt in the mouth and the taste was exquisite. I've literally never had anything that nice in my life. The decor, artwork and theming of the building was amazing. I actually felt like I was in Texas. The staff we're lovely, attentive and one kind lady (I assume the manager?) I didn't catch her name gave us a show round the different areas of the restaurant

Enjoyable large family meal to celebrate our daughter completing the Manchester Marathon. Well cooked meats, large portions and good selection of drinks. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere with attentive and knowledgeable staff. Good sized car park with large bays.
