The store is lovely and they stock whistles which is one of my favourite brand. Unfortunately, the sales assistant (a brunette lady in her 50ies) had a very standoffish and snob approach towards me, it's perhaps because I look younger than my actual age and I don't wear make up in my free time. She tried to make herself unavailable when she noticed that I require assistance. It happened multiple times. I had the same issue with the staff at Mint Velvet yesterday. How I was treated really affected my day and it seems to be a consistent experience that I have in the ladies wear floor. Comple

i came in a few weeks ago to get apple strudel hot chocolate because it was out of stock on the website and they said there was low availability in the story. the workers provided outstanding customer service- they thoroughly checked if they had any on the shelves then checked to see if they had any in store where they ended up finding out that there was only one left that was located on the display section. thank you so much for your service. very nice workers.

I absolutely adore Elys! There’s something about it that makes me feel proud to live around Wimbledon. When I first moved here over 20 years ago this department store felt like it was stuck in the 70s. I could hear the theme tune of Are You Being Served playing in my ears as I walked past the 70s style mannequins. Now however it’s firmly modernised and in the present. The staff that work here are all beautiful, and they all seem to genuinely be lovely people. I don’t know who’s responsible for the recruitment but there’s a genuine smile and enthusiasm that exudes from every one of the gorgeous
