The best restaurant I've ever visited in the UK. And Im a foodie who was born and raised here. The cute tables on this cobble street caught my eye when walking the high street looking for a restaurant with space for 2 on a Saturday evening. After no luck in multiple restaurants my husband and i decided to see what this place was. The lovely waiter came out to greet us and pointed out that this is the second oldest building in windsor. It was nice to see vegan options in the menu, we ordered, a vegan fried rice ( which was rice with peas, not even spring onion or any of other veggies), Capital Vegan Rib ( the ribs texture was really nice, the sauce was so sweet though) , Crispy Shredded Chilli Vegan Beef ( again nothing chilly about this dish, the crispy beef was good the sauce again was so sweet) and finally the Fish fragrant Aubergine, they used the same sweet sauce as the former two dishes and added some garlic and sea spices. All in all, we left the place and felt like eating no more sugar for the rest of the week. The

Gutted this place didn't live up to expectations. Vegan options all taste the same. Same sauce used for everything. It's far too sweet, couldnt finish any of the dishes. £6.95 for vegan fried rice which was literally a bowl of plain rice and peas. 🙄 Great they offer vegan options, however, such a shame they are packed with sugar and not much flavour. Previous reviews show extensive vegan menu, came May 2026 and this was only option available.

I came to this restaurant based on online recommendations, but honestly, it was very disappointing. First of all, the pricing feels seriously inflated. The fish dish was over £30, which is roughly double what you’d normally expect at similar restaurants. I assumed there must be something that set it apart—better quality or exceptional taste—but that wasn’t the case. The food was just average, and the portion size wasn’t anything special either. Secondly, one of our dishes was incorrect, and the staff didn’t even notice until we pointed it out ourselves. It felt like most of the servers weren
